I thought I should let you know that Suzy of ICOLs has sent me a message
to say that she did NOT write the following to me on August 5th 2002. I
mention this as I may have forwarded it.
Apparently her cousin from Brighton (UK) sent the following message while
 using her email account. So Suzy claims. Quite remarkable. This comes as quite a 
relief to me as I find this kind of rapidly shifting allegiance uncomfortable and 
I was sure that the ¡®art¡¯ community in digital media had matured in its 
behaviour since 1996.

Dear Monica, Lachlan, Susan and Yuko,

Just been away a week and came back in time to see my cousin (the uk
artist one, I think Monica you met her once in Brighton) off at the
airport, who'd been staying a few weeks in the house. As she left she
confessed to having sent a few forged emails from me, from my icols
address while I was away.
Foolishly I'd encouraged her to have a look at some of the list
postings
I get as she is not on any Oz based lists, so I had a look through my
sent mail box and ugh, I found the culprits.
So for the record, Monica I am NOT thinking of having an affair,
Yuko, I
have NOT gone back to oil painting, Lachlan, I have new media theory
coming out of my ears and Susan, I haven't started writing a book on
'your' subject.
