Re: [-empyre-] real net art

To be very brief, as I'm leaving home to drive over
to SIGGRAPH for the day (at my in-laws in Texas for
the month), I feel that the idea of considering
there to be a 'golden age' of a genre, as well as
the suitability of a given mehtodology/tool for the
explication of concepts, really bypass first the
context (larger) in which art is created, if
Kandinsky is coreect in that art is a product of its
time, and secondly that this concentration on tools
tends to obscure the art itself, although they are
linked.

In short, I really don't care what you use as long
as you're communicating a concise, incisive, and
compelling message.
