speaking from my own personal experience, i have used palace software in
live cyberformance, working with remote artists to create a performance in
a specific venue that also includes "live" or proximal actors. we also use
it to create online cyberformances, & at this point i wouldn't want to say
that one was a better use of the software than the other, it's all pretty
experimental really.

when we perform in public chat rooms, it is an open forum for others in the
room to participate, & this does sometimes happen.

i could go on at length but i'm aware that this is a diversion from the
blogging topic at hand ...
