When I asked why QuickTime instead of Flash I was
thinking in terms of visual narrative but not
necessarily video. Flash is much more suited for
animation. What would you think of an animated
Flash vog?
sheehs, left field, didn't expect that one :-)
no idea. in the blog bit of the vogs there is something i personally
like about how i just shoot stuff off the cuff, all in a minor key if
you like, and use that. they're not things pretending to be 'movies'.
(narratives with characters and fiction.) so flash would be good for
a vog (i immediately think of images of objects from my day, ticket
stubs, pen, the images on the way to work...). but i think personally
i have a lot invested in video, and though i haven't been prodded
like this before i think it's because i love hypertext as a process
and want that into 'real' moving images. recordings of or from the
world. there's a chris marker sorta figure in me somewhere (my first
ever real hypertext was a chris marker hypertext archive thing).
would love to see one though. you up for it?
anyway nemo, i'm sorry but i don't know you, you got a url or
something to find out what you do? back channel is fine.
