naturally the perception of any media is dependendant on the presence of
a consumer (for lack of a beter word), but consumer or not, the media
still exists. while the philosophical pondering of this question is
enjoyable, it is fairly irrelevant. just because we can not perceive
sub-sub-sub atomic events, or ghosts for that matter, does not mean they
don't exist. well, i'm skeptical about the ghosts, but i'd never argue
with someone about it. though i would likely excuse myself from the
conversation at a bar.
