[-empyre-] aesthetics of the global

Dear Adam and -empyreans-,

If radio already had that ability i am very interested in how the net and
broadcasting/streaming formats nowadays widens our horizons.
Do you think that there is more than just technology's influence on
the aesthetic of sound/image? Or are we able to access other, previously
unperceived material and how is the fused with our existing experience?
Do you think that your "radio astronomy" project
(www.radioqualia.net/makrolab/radioastronomy.html or
http://radioqualia.va.com.au/isol/emissions5.html are there are more links anyway?)
also relates to this "fascination for hearing global, alien, multi-shaped things"?
