as a lurker - I tend to agree with the point Alan made about the list being mostly populated by the usual people.Although this is not a fault, a lurker like myself might tend to get the idea that this is a closed and 'specialist' only/academic only converasation. I am not btw saying that this is the case, because I believe that it actually needs to remain a place where academic rigour is maintained to a degree, but it still on the surface looks to be 'closed gallery' at times, and I am left to lurk and save all the conversations, which I really do value, as didactic information rather than conversation...this is not necessarily a bad thing.
