odd, the diff. which makes a diff. sounds like Bateson; my point is that
diff. itself needs deconstruction, that everything is delay, and that this
is a problem, this differance, for cog sci at this point, the interiority
of the brain.

i'd also either filter out 'new' with its implication of a linear
discursivity and 'media' for that matter, since every message requires a
substrate or inscriptive basis (Peirce describes this as the 'sheet of
assertion') that always already implies a discourse network.
