Alan,

A couple of books.

1. The New Landscape, Moholy Nagy. First book I bought when I left art
school in '62.

2. Second Self: Computers and the Human Spirit, Sherry Turkle. Read around
'85 as part of my Dip Ed studies

3. Maeda @ Media, John Maeda. Read 3 yrs ago when doing my masters in
digital media.

There's a lot of others, but the above were important with respect to my
interest in understanding the art/technology/science/culture/society
continuum; the spirit of enquiry and all that ...
