I would be interested to see syllabi of such courses.

It occurs to me that many undergrad comp sci courses could be restructured
to put an emphasis on the history and practice of artistic new media. For
instance, in first year, students typically take a year-long introductory
course that covers a broad range of general topics from looking at the basic
parts of computers and what they do to social issues of computing to looking
at the limits of what algorithms can accomplish. It would take a lot of
work, but I'll bet that there are significant works of arts that address
many of the topics of this sort of course.

More generally, I'll bet that any particular course in comp sci would have
at least several art handles.
