re: ETC - I think this happens to most people who go there. There are two
configurations which intersect of course, noisy feedback loops and star
configs extending outward - for example I was able to work with an
n-camera setup with the cameras triggered by sound in various ways. For
me, the center had been the video toaster; now it's interlocked analog/
digital mixes, ending up on cdroms processed through everything from
blender through the analog equipment. The bookstore across the street has
always been an important source, as well as the Mirage sampler - I finally
ended up getting one of the latter on ebay.
