When George Bush went to war, I became a partisan American. And the 
debates have energized me into action. 

Yesterday I placed two Kerry-Edwards lawn signs on both sides of my house. 
This morning I found that someone had spray-painted one black and had torn 
the other in two. 

This is the America we are now living in. It's gone beyond the red and 
blue America. It's now the black and blue America.
