This may seem obvious, but today I noticed the intimacy that comes from texting. Walking along, I was always accessible to my close friends, who could give me a quick note. A little more personal than a call, if that makes sense. The idea of writing letters has a historical baggage, and mixed with mobile tech, it turns to text.
