I am interested in discussing layers ... 

So, if we have layers in books (which I think we do) and in hypertextual objects, presented in different ways as per the mediums in which we work and become published, can we use the new layering formats (spoken and unspoken, seen and unseen codes)to change social and cultural constructs? It's a question I wrestle daily ...
