I guess what I really meant to write yesterday was something like this,
perhaps a little more to the point.  The post was fascinating because it
described a protest that played intentionally to a global theater, even
a particularly Western one, as a refusal to go along.  There are so many
cultural contradictions of capitalism (or of fighting it) that it
becomes mind games.
