dear -empyre-

Together with Naeem and John we are excited that two new friends can
join us for this week-- Katherine Carl and Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss. I
just met them in November, in San Diego / Tijuana, where they were
showing work from their 'Lost Highways' project, in connection with
the Political Equator conference organized by Teddy Cruz (who
contributed to -empyre- in September 2007) and others. Katherine and
Srdjan's enthusiasm and innovative vision inspired me so much,
especially as the "Lost Highways' project has a healing or
transformative aspect.

Please welcome Katherine and Srdjan!
