That's a good story.  Best of both sides from a marketing perspective: 
official channel for emerging artist + the needed political or cultural
other.  It's interesting how long artists have been using maps or flags
as an explicit device, such as David Hammons's US flag in African
national colors.  Alghiero Botti has used both.
