Hello all,
Very interesting Norman Bryson's piece on queer and Poison. We have felt
many times that a discourse on finding ways to dilute identities can be
systematically (and yet almost invisibly) violent towards those who are
looking for a specific (subjective) voice - so, for example, queer could
become slowly hostage of a cisperspective that makes trans-identities sound
a relatively minor issue.
A quote of Poison, and of Bryson's piece:

My heart is in my hand, and my hand is pierced, and my hand is in the bag,
and the bag is shut, and my heart is caught.

Now, esquizotrans is proposing an event within next year Resonance(s) in
Istambul:

http://www.resonative.net/index.html

The event will try to bring together artists and pieces that find themselves
in the queer crossroads. We want it to be an open space to present and
discuss related work. We would like you all to help with ideas so that we
can carry on some of our threads live.

love, esquizotrans
