All I'm saying is that maybe its best to back away from this myth - which has been for more than a century the carrot  dangling from the stick - maybe we should rather than believing things will change us take control of those things and change them in accord with our vision - and in a heuristic manner allow our visions to compete and morph - its your perhaps that bothers me - its like someone saying I hope things get better for you - which means they aren't about to lift a finger to help you
