[-empyre-] final comments?

Hi All,
I'd just like to reiterate Helen's comments but also to thank Helen and Jo especially for their energy and enthusiam around the Networked project - and of course also Eduardo who took the time to come on board this month - as well as all the authors thus far, some about to 'publish' and Anna Gibbs and Maria Angel for participating.

I have had a very interesting month and while it's sometimes hard to think of something interesting to say in the middle of a teaching and admin day working in tertiary education, it's not so difficult when one has such incredible company! Thanks also to the excellent comments from many empyreans (posters and lurkers as well as list adminers) - this list continues to be one of the richest for its discussion of art-media-theory issues that I know of!

Hopefully I will see some of you from around the world at re:live in Melbourne very soon. If you are coming to Oz for this please email me ahead as I'd like to perhaps organise a bit of a launch for Networked
best
Anna

Jo and I would like to thank all of you for participating in this
discussion, and express the hope
that now you will go to the networked book and leave your comments on
the texts there.

There are still five chapters to come that we know of; several of the
existing chapters
will be used in teaching situations -- which we take to be a part of
the networking for
which the book was intended. Other unanticipated uses are bound to
take place.

Anna -- special thanks to you for taking the time to moderate the empyre
discussion. You did a great job.

And thanks to empyre -- Renata and Tim -- for letting us use the
empyre list to
introduce the networked book.

All the best to all,

Helen and Jo
