Sean and Christina et al,

The Filliou article in the most recent issues of CAA Art Journal is great.
Fillious' notion of research as a rhisomatic journey of free investigation
is indeed what many creative artists and thinkers incorporate into their
creative process and practice.  This model was seminal to the work of Maria
Montessori whose research I think is often misinterpreted. I'm wondering if
she had any influence on Fillious' writings?  It is so very different in
that it resists classically structured learning systems where the master
teacher is present to disseminate knowledge and truth.
