sorry but that is an absolute TRAP, art or artists position is not to assume
a ROLE
and sorry to repeat nietzche again, but his addage of BEWARE of the
impoverished the poor or
depressed is a point in case for your increasingly conflated argument. "It's
part of the role of artists to ensure we don't forget about them."
it is always about the work, unless the work is not strong enough which is
increasingly the case, then the artist assumes the frame.
