Alan, your post is included in the archive, which everyone can access via archives at http://empyre.library.cornell.edu.
Speaking of The fascinating and wide ranging discussion of AR this month, I find myself wondering about the AR status of ongoing online archives through which the historical identity of our online community is extended and elongated on a daily basis. Might we think of this, referencing Simon's gesture to Heidegger, as constituting something of a being-data-in-the-world? Best, Tim Murray

Did anyone get my reply to Mathias Fuchs? I can't find it; I tried to go
to archives - list as Pandora and Cornell - but the latter came up with no
archives at all and the former ended years ago. I'm on digest; last time,
when I sent the reply out again, it appeared twice.
Apologies for this - not quite sure what to do. Thanks, Alan
