>
> Hi all empyre subscribers! We are actually writing to you from Montreal.
> Sorry to Micha and Zach for our very slow response this morning. We
>
were hoping to give both of you a very proper introduction but Tim and I
were on the highway
to Montreal. We have just settled into our hotel after the trip from hell
including car trouble but we
are relieved to see that both Zach and Micha already made their first post
this month on:
Queer Media Art and Theory

We met Zach many years ago at an empyre sponsored event in San Francisco.
It was a one day workshop
on Virillio. Ashley Ferro-Murray introduced us and we have been huge fans
of Zach and his work ever since. Micha we met at
DAC when it was at Irvine a few years ago and have also followed her work
enthusiastically. Enough of this reminiscing....we are absolutely thrilled
that both of them have agreed to launch their new list-serve through empyre
soft-skinned space. They have a substantial line-up of
participants and we are convinced this will be a lively and engaging four
weeks.

So thank you Micha and Zach we are so happy to introduce you to empyre.
 Best. Renate
