This is interesting. Other people have told me that they did not regard their game avatars that seriously, or looked at them as tools.
I've said that i kind of like the meld with the scenario you could get in first person 'shoot-ups', but i have no experience of gaming online with others, so i'm ignorant
I guess this might be the time for asking people here....
How do you relate to your game avatars?
Would you like to be them?
Do you suffer and exult with them?
Do you have in-game relationships or intimacy?
is that about the players or the characters
Do you meet people you don't see in offline life?
What kind of characters do you play?
What do you get out of gaming?
Obviously there are many other questions to ask, which might be better to ask
