[-empyre-] into what midst?

Hi Johannes,
the purpose of my post was to set the stage for a conversation on how a collective process can set the conditions for an emergent proposition, which, in this case, was the question of working in an architecturally, economically and digitally circumscribed environment. The research proposition was: can we open this environment to its outside, the outside understood here both philosophically and pragmatically. Our hope was that we would find ways to brings the "midst" out from these circumscribed conditions, to open up these conditions to other ways of generating experiential spacetime. The event, as with all our events, should not be limited to one activity (they take a year or more to fold out, and their effects are always, to some degree, ephemeral, since our main concern is to generate enabling constraints for new forms of collaboration) - my hope was simply to outline one of the many activities that became an entrypoint into the problematic. Others will build on this, I'm sure.
