Thanks Tania for your meaningful response. As our week is finishing, I just want to thank you for introducing us to your research, and leaving us in a point to continue our discussion on engineering the university. We wanted to have this dialogue on a local approach to knowledge production as a partial strategy to discuss the global. I think that with our dialogue, we performed the role of "outsiders within" that you mentioned, especially in performing translation not only in a linguistic sense, but also in an experiential one. Although there are commonalities driven by the reach of neoliberal ideas in global education, our location in Global South spaces rooted in Colombia, has led us to take in count particular disparities. Disparities that we can not avoid as we connect with them through our academic practices. Thanks again, and I hope to see you soon, here in the United States.
