It's remarkable, but in our experience quite a large number of tapes are
still digitize-able. Even many of the half-inch open reel works can be
transferred. With the open reel works, it may take multiple cleanings or
occasionally special techniques like baking. Often, the problems arise from
original errors in recording - bad tracking, sync problems, threading
issues and the like. They are problems which exist on the original
recordings.
