Hello List. Just wanted to say I find this discussion really thought provoking & full of fascinating turns. In relation to the concept of textual personas--we especially in poetry--it seems to me that the continuum body/mind is central. Isn't there a kind of presencing that like flickers? One favorite literary play on this is Ch 3 of Ian McEwan's _Atonement_ where a character contemplates the time it takes to crook his finger, thinking in terms of voluntary/involuntary actions. Also the idea of multitasking etc. Thanks for the great discussions! Best, William
