My New Year's Resolution for 2017 is to live IRL. No longer will I
sacrifice agency for convenience.

By the first of this year, I'd stopped using Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart
(well, I've only been through those doors once that I can recall, to buy a
money order), and Facebook.

This year I will stop using PayPal.

Today I read NYT's interview with Peter Thiel, which made me despise the
guy even more:

"When I remark that President Obama had eight years without any ethical
shadiness, Mr. Thiel flips it, noting: “But there’s a point where no
corruption can be a bad thing. It can mean that things are too boring.”"

Wishing things were a lot more boring,
