Hi everyone, I came across this interesting article on Jstor recently and
wanted to share it with you - it is an analysis of the messy intersections
of mothering, sexuality, death and literature in Mary Shelley's personal
life, expressed between the lines of Frankenstein. Here, the monster is
brought into the light as a figure queered into expressions of femininity
and (thwarted) maternity.
