Hello Stirlingand Everyone,

I wanted to express agreement onwhat you

say about th complexity of borders. Your

closing sentence about being careful‘what

or who cannot be crossed’ bringshome a lot

of the difficulties involved innegotiating

borders peacefully. The wikipediaarticle on 

stateless nations has a lot on thisand several

months ago I sent a link to the listwhich I’ll

add below on the question oflinguistic sus-

tainability in regard to thesequestions. The

changes brought about byglobalization and

demographics in general seem just nowto

increase the difficulties (Brexit, Catalonia,

Scotland, to name only three). So it seemsto

me the question of sustainability isimport-
