Hi Lynne, 
Thanks for sharing this footage of Carolee Schneemann, Barbara Hammer and Gunvor Nelson.  Did you mention to me that you might also have collaborated with Barbara in other ways?  Would love for you to share more links and also your ideas on the distinction between these artists?  

It would be interesting to hear your take Lynne on not only the way they use the camera but also their own self-reflection within the lens.  I am struck by Barbara’s direct and active intervention with the camera’s she used. I guess what I am trying to flush out here is Constanza’s point about the use of camera and the moving images it captures.  How is it that these artists use not only use their own bodies but also the act of sensation to embody their active selves in unison with the technology itself.  This is such a distinction from the ordinary use of the camera lens gazing at its subject. 

Hope you all have thoughts.  Or perhaps counter thoughts?
