Thank you Alenda for conceiving, organizing and managing the March discussion on -empyre-, The Mixed Realities of Games. Thanks also are in order for the exemplary array of guests you brought together addressing the cross-disciplinary nature of gaming.
Throughout this past month we have witnessed the global turbulence of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to extend our heartfelt wishes for the health and safety to all of our subscribers throughout the world. Many of the posts last month alluded to the concern of the current pandemic. We want to pick up where some of those posts left off to dedicate the entire month of April to the topic: Interfacing COVID 19: the technologies of contagion, risk, and contamination.
Three moderators: Junting Huang, Tim Murray and myself will moderate. We will be featuring twenty-one guests over the course of the month but we are also hoping that all of our subscribers will report in to let us know how they are doing and how COVOD 19 is affecting their own work/practices.
Tomorrow morning, I will post our Introductory post and introduce Week's 1 guests. On behalf of Tim, Junting and myself. Please stay safe.
