Hello Empyreans,Hoping (as always, especially under the c-19circumstances) all are well. Reading Melinda'stext brings home again the history of so manymissed opportunities to improve the way weuse our resources, the bungled forestry care,raging capitalism that causes even more po-verty and war. In Spain where I live there havebeen many mistakes made in dealing with thepandemic. Lockdown came much later thanwas advisable, equipment was lacking, leadingto loss of life among medical personnel. AsMelissa indicates the total no. of cases herestands close to 120,000. Something like 11.2thousand deaths, so many of which could havebeen avoided. And this is not over by any means,globally (and we have to speak globally). Some
