Hi,
My conviction is that the internet, the digital paths it opens (re)creates the old world in steroids; it only intensifies, speeds up the forces already, but less visibly so, in the society. It does not create new power relationships, but intensifies the old ones. What was more powerful power remains so , but in a more extreme way, afterward. What was weaker ends up being weaker. The rest is temporary and ultimately, an illusion.
Ana, nice to hear from you again. You inspire my responsew. We are assuming Sarajevo had no outside communication before. How do we know? It may have been more sparse and more clandestine and unrecorded.
Ciao,
Murat
