Hi Renate and all,

For those of you interested in exploring astrology, there are some great apps and podcasts.

Chani Nicholas’s astrology app for iPhone is oriented to activist politics, queer identity issues and feminism. Nicholas is influential in 4th wave feminism. My grad students love her -- the Age of Aquarius has arrived! There are several feminist reading groups in Toronto including academics, curators and artists that meet on a lunar cycle – at the full moon. If you are comfortable sharing your data (that is another question), it’s easy to calculate your own chart in light of the Age of Aquarius.

Acyuta-bhava Das’s podcast, Nightlight Astrology, is geared to students of astrology and covers astrological theory and history. He posts regularly, addressing world events in light of current planetary transits.
