Thanks for the nudge, gang.

I can't speak for anyone else but myself in saying that I'm notoriously bad 
about corresponding at all in the late winter, even now that I'm much 
closer to the topics.  For this I apologize.

I'll say one thing for sure in that Empyre is one of the better lists in 
our 'close-knit' (better to say than inbred :)  ) little community, and I 
think it's a great opportunity to share ideas on a relatively deep level, 
an art that has apparently been lost on many lists.  SHould I be chiming in 
more?

Sure.

However, for the last few weeks I've hit a bit of a mental block after the 
ISEA conference in Nagoya, the coming of the Second Gulf War, and a few 
more personal things.  In many ways, it's been an experience of questioning 
the core foundation of my practical, theoretical, and philosophical 
beliefs, which is never easy.  In fact, I'm still there.

For a while, it meant that I didn't feel like writing or creating at all, 
and just working on Intelligent Agent.  But now the stirrings of new work 
are coming, and perhaps even some concrete thought may begin to come forth 
as well.

I think it's exceedingly healthy to push the reset switch once in a while, 
but you tend not to say much.

I'll try to do a little better.
