Re: [-empyre-] this is not a spectator event ::

you all seem to have become a little shy in responding on list...

for the list to keep going -empyre- needs your interactions, as guests will
not give up their valuable time if they get no response to thie posts.
noone gets paid to be here.. the facilitators wont keep putting in time and
enregy to seek out guests if there is no dialogue happening.

Interaction is particlarly important in the next few months, especially when
a reader is being produced from the June discussion.

hi
I still read everything that gets posted...
I noticed the posts dropped off almost coincidentally with the outbreak of war...

Things like depressing obsessive media war coverage, and now thinking about sars infecting us locally -another reminder of our fragile existence [been just watching some video of chinese locals forming armed vigilante groups to monitor entry to their villages and people committing suicide because they though they or their partners had sars - that's wierd!] and thinking about bad people running our nations tends to interfere with our energy levels.

hmmm... just a though ... the 'threat' of publication might not exactly encourage more open participation in a discussion. It kind of gives it a more serious tone and negates the freeform nature of a spontaneous email list where what you say may|should not have permanent repercussions...
The written form is already somewhat over overrated in it's value...
