[-empyre-] Mystery Money

Wowzers! What can I buy with Ithaca Hours? I am reminded of all our discussions or countefeit money and real/fake time (world time, vulgar time, time as curency). How appropriate that money and measurements of time--the division of unfdifferentiated temporality into solar units--have changed into one another (an Ithaca hour is an Ithaca dollar?). It is lovely to see a metaphor literalized.
