Call it "response" or "reaction," fast or slow, - I was objecting
mainly to the implication that artists or anybody must of necessity
answer the call of capital and its crises. And you, in your posts,
have been insistent that the discussants should answer your own call,
to speak about the topics you bring to the table. You are demanding a
response as a condition of discussion, and insisting that others show
an interest in topics that interest you. Normally, I'm happy to engage
in discussions of new areas, but not when I'm told I should.
