Marx's forsight of a factory without workers lurks at the horizon, but 
other than what Marx thought about the humans being "observers and 
watchmen only", the humans are now still working and being told that 
they are just consuming and not working. Furthermore they are "domestic 
workers who work on their own machines." (Marx, Capital Vol.1, Part 1, 
p. 518) That saves a lot of money for capital of course.
